TIANA Fairtrade Organics – Magento 2 Maintenance & Custom Development
Project Overview
TIANA Fairtrade Organics is a UK-based premium organic food and wellness brand selling coconut oils, nutritional supplements, skincare products, and natural health products through Magento 2.
This client returned twice for Magento maintenance and custom development work.
During the first engagement, the objective was to stabilize the store by resolving several production issues affecting both administrators and customers. The work included fixing product editing failures within Magento Admin, restoring Page Builder rendering across CMS pages, resolving cache inconsistencies, correcting cron job memory configuration, improving HTML validation, and troubleshooting compatibility conflicts between multiple third-party image optimization extensions.
The store relied on several image optimization modules including MagestyApps WebImages, Yireo WebImages, Yireo NextGenImages, and Jajuma WebPImages. These extensions required compatibility adjustments to ensure proper frontend rendering and optimized image delivery.
A few weeks later, the client returned with additional customization work. The layered navigation's "Filter by Category" generated incorrect URLs while another navigation component displayed the correct category links. I analyzed the custom theme implementation (MGS Claue), identified the routing issue, synchronized both navigation systems, and implemented additional attribute-level filtering enhancements to improve catalog navigation and product discovery.
Throughout both engagements, Magento best practices were followed to ensure maintainable, upgrade-safe solutions while minimizing disruption to the live store.
