I'm Areeb Khan, a backend developer based in Karachi, Pakistan. I started on Magento 2 and Laravel — custom extensions, Hyvä storefronts, M1-to-M2 migrations, admin panels, and the kind of integration work where a single bad query takes a store down. That's where I learned to care about performance and data integrity.
Today I work across the MERN stack and Next.js, building SSR/SSG interfaces on top of secure REST APIs with JWT auth and role-based access control — and increasingly wiring in AI features with OpenAI and Claude APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
I've been promoted once at TekGlide, led projects end to end, and handled client communication directly. I'd rather ship something maintainable than something clever.
